History of ADT Advanced Digital Technologies has a history of more than 20 years of creating, designing, and deploying technology solutions to business processes.  Originally founded by Troy Sponaugle in Fairfax Virginia, Advanced Digital Technologies grew to support clients throughout the Northern Virginia, Washington, DC and Maryland business and government centers. Advanced Digital Technologies’ core strengths are based in customized accounting solutions and building computer networks.  The ability to support and create both front-end software solutions and the ability to design, build, and implement the back-end technology infrastructure proved to be a business model that offered ADT’s clients a true, turn-key information technology consulting firm. While ADT’s philosophies in business never change, ADT continues to evolve and utilize the ever-changing advances in technology.   We look forward to what the future holds and ADT’s role in implementing technology solutions for your company. Core Business Strengths Advanced Digital Technologies is focused on our strengths as a company.  However, we understand that many of today’s business processes interrelate and overlap.  Consequently, ADT develops and maintains many in-house capabilities.   Our first main focus is Accounting Information Systems through our long term relationship with Sage ACCPAC.  Under this focus, ADT developed the following capabilities:  Electronic Business Transactions: both business-to-business transactions and business-to-consumer transactions Warehouse Management Customer Resource Management SQL Database Implementation and Maintenance Oracle Database Implementation and Maintenance Inventory Control Our second main focus is Microsoft-based networks, both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).  Under this focus, ADT developed the following additional capabilities: Design, Deploy, and Support of Microsoft Windows  and CentOS/Linux Servers Creation of Virtual Private Networks Between Geographically Separate Sites In-house Design and Manufacture of Customized Servers Maintenance and Support of Microsoft-based and Novell-based Networks: whether created by ADT, in-house, or another organization   Future of ADT and Technology Today, technology changes and improves at a pace that requires rapid augmentation and deployment of knowledge.  Through our partnership with leading technology creators, ADT is prepared for the release and standardization of future business solutions.  Our commitment to employee training gives us the skill base necessary to assure our clients that we can fully meet expectations during development and deployment.  Furthermore, our commitment to employee development allows ADT to offer our clients the assurance, that as new technologies become available, they can turn to ADT to recommend and implement these technologies.  While we have no crystal ball regarding the future, we are fully confident of our ability to embrace, pioneer, and deploy tomorrow’s technologies to medium and small enterprises.
